Meet Your Coach and Instructor

Real-World Experience. Practical Solutions. Stronger Communities.

Effective condominium leadership requires more than good intentions. It requires sound judgment, clear communication, organized procedures, responsible planning, and the ability to work with people who may see the same issue very differently.

My professional background brings together organizational leadership, public safety, education, and firsthand condominium association experience.

As the founder and operator of a private security corporation, I was responsible for the many demands of running an organization, including financial administration, employee hiring and separation, policies and procedures, regulatory compliance, client contracts, and operational decision-making. This experience taught me the importance of accountability, consistency, preparation, and following through on commitments.

As a condominium association chairperson, I have worked directly with board members on budgets, policy development, conflict resolution, identifying community needs, and planning and completing improvement projects. I understand that volunteer board members must balance their responsibilities to the association with their relationships with the neighbors they serve.

My education includes two degrees in criminology and a master's degree in education. My professional experience includes eight years in law enforcement and nearly twenty years in private security, along with experience in fire response, emergency medical services, hazardous materials, and investigation plus 14 years of teaching in challenging educational settings.

I also bring over 50 years experience in public speaking and ministry, including preparing and delivering messages in churches, missionary settings, nursing facilities, and other community settings. These opportunities have strengthened my commitment to communicating clearly, listening carefully, and connecting with people from different backgrounds.

My Approach

I believe effective association leadership can be learned and strengthened through practical instruction, thoughtful discussion, and real-world problem-solving.

My goal is to help condominium association leaders improve their communication, strengthen their working relationships, organize their responsibilities, address challenges constructively, and turn ideas into achievable results.

I provide educational training and coaching grounded in experience, with an emphasis on practical tools that boards and community leaders can use in their everyday responsibilities.

I am not an attorney or an accountant. My services focus on leadership, organizational practices, communication, planning, and education—not legal representation or professional accounting advice.

My mission is simple: to help community leaders become better prepared, more effective, and more confident in serving their associations.
